About Our New Lids

We now have new lids, with a slightly different design.

After 40+ years with the same lids, our supplier retired and closed their business, forcing us to source new lids. We were unable to find the same or similar lids, so have had to change to a more modern design, similar to tomato sauce or sriracha sauce, and made from food grade plastic.

It is no longer necessary to remove the whole cap, simply unscrew one turn or so, and the ant killer comes out the top of the lid.  This can be done one-handed if you're in a tight space.

If you do pull the top off (requires a bit of force) you can replace it the same way, just by pushing it back on and screwing it back down.

The lids can be cleaned with hot water if they get a bit sticky.
